Life’s Lessons

After days of pondering about Ace request of getting a motorcycle (since we cannot afford a car yet), I must say I have changed my mind. I was too firm in saying “NO” to him before but after weighing things out, I think he really needs it for ease of travel to and from work. From where we are staying now, it takes him almost an hour or more to reach his workplace by taking a public utility vehicle. It takes him longer when going home because jeepneys plying the route that he will take are too scarce at night. While if he travels by motorcycle, it will take him more or less 15 minutes. He just needs to be very careful when driving and heed my doctor friend’s advice, don’t drive when drunk. Oh well, he only drinks when with my friends or with my relatives  so I wouldn’t have to worry about that. (I just hope he will not learn to drink with his officemates because that is a big NO-NO to me).

So now he must be thinking what unit to get. But for me, I think I wanted a Honda motorcycle. Maybe because I get to know friends who are using Honda motorcycles. Besides, honda motorcycle parts are not that hard to find so it’s easy when there’s a need to replace some parts, or if he wanted to pimp the motorcycle to make it look cool.
