Ace’ aunt in Germany always call him when we are still planning to get married. Because….because!*LOL*. He sought his Aunt’s assistance for some of the expenses for the wedding. So, when Aunt Gracia calls, it would last almost half an hour. Imagine how expensive it is! There’s a time when Aunt Gracia got to rush to the nearest store that sells call cards to get one and after a few minutes, they are back talking again catching up on each other. Listening in the background, I would always remind Ace to end the conversation as overseas calls would cost a lot. I don’t know what international calling cards she’s using but for sure, it’s cheaper calling in her end as she will always advice Ace “don’t call me, I’ll call you”. Sounds familiar? Yes, it’s what you hear after a job interview*wink*.
