Surprise!!!

Cebu Pacific Air had a PISO seat sale last week. I tried to book for our wedding anniversary trip and luckily there’s promo fare available on the dates that I chose. I just had to cancel the booking because it’s too expensive for a PISO fare, IMO. The base fare is just four pesos but the add-on charges including the fuel charge is more than three thousand pesos! I’ll have to experiment on this one so I would know if getting we could really save from getting that PISO fare instead of other seat sale.

Since we are planning to go to Siquijor Island on May for Ace’ grandma’s birthday, Ace said we have to pass on this seat sale and prepare for our trip on May. So forget about Cebu Pacific Air’s Piso seat sale and move on!LOL. Later that night, there was an email coming from Anne (Ace’ sister) with the subject SURPRISE!. I immediately opened the email and was so surprised to see a copy of a round trip itinerary from Davao to Cebu. Anne and Ian booked and paid for us! Weee!

So surprised to receive this copy of itinerary from Cebu Pacific courtesy of Ian & Anne. So we'll be saying hello Cebu-Dumaguete-Siquijor on July! Thank God for super generous sis & bro!

It was indeed a surprise because they didn’t asked us of our preferred travel dates. It doesn’t matter anyway because we can bring our work anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. In half a year we will be saying hello Cebu City, Dumaguete City, and Siquijor Island! Yay! So excited! Thank God for super generous bro and sis!

Moving is a pain. Going through all your belongings and trying to decide what to keep, what to donate and why you bought it all in the first place. There is the packing, and calling in of favors to help you load a truck or car. And then there is the actual move itself. The question is where are you moving to?

If you’ve been finally kicked out of your parents’ house or have decided to move out of your own free will, you are probably heading to an apartment. And while living in an apartment can be fun and exciting, the same can’t be said for finding an apartment.

If you plan to move in the same city you may have the luxury of time to drive around and visit potential places to live in person. If you are short on time or plan to move to a new city, perhaps even one you’ve never been to, your best choice is to look for apartments online.

Us in Twenty-twelve

To finish Project 365 or Project 366 (it’s 366 because it’s leap year) has been a challenge for me. This year is my third attempt and I am not sure if I’d be able to finish with this project. It’s a double challenge this year because I am doing two projects using two different Apple applications – the Photo 365 and Project 365. The former will be for just anything that makes or breaks our day while the latter will be for our daily portraits.

Updating my project 366: Us in 2012. May na-miss na agad na araw.

Using the applications is helpful for me because I am reminded to update this project from time to time. Seeing the thumbnails every now and then inspires me and reminds me to continue taking photos. Unlike the previous years, I am very particular with the resolution of the photos, now I am learning to let go of my “perfectionist attitude” when it comes to photos so I don’t care much whether the photos are noisy, underexposed, or whatever. I just need to update this project as much as I can every single day. Bonus for me because Ace is very supportive with both projects and he never fails to remind me to take our portrait. Along with other friends, I hope my “Photo a Day” and “Us in 2012” projects will be a success. I may miss some days but I really hope I won’t get tired taking photos and updating my two photo a day projects.
