One of the most popular music sensations now is Jessica Sanchez, a Filipina who is making her way to the top in American Idol. All three AI judges are impressed by her talent— something that I am so proud about as a Filipino. Jessica Sanchez would surely make one great American Idol. Not everyone can sing that skillfully at her age.
One of the things I enjoy watching about American Idol is how the band arranges the music. I can’t help but think, “do they ever make mistakes?” They play so perfectly during the show! I am sure those guitars are costly and of excellent quality like novation . The AI band definitely has a great role in making this show number one!

Summer is really here and people everywhere are complaining how hot it is these days. What happened to mother Earth? Seems like we’re in an oven during the day! Glad we’re not going out often. Or else, I would die of heat stroke with the intense heat. I’m used to it by the way, but the temperature is really exceptional lately. So hot and humid! To keep us comfortable, the fan is turned on during our waking hours while the air conditioner works during our sleep. The past month, we’ve been extending the hours of using the air conditioner because Baby Sendong is in the house. Times like these, I am thankful for the mind behind an air conditioner because we can sleep soundly even during humid nights. But then, good luck to our pocket! Our electric bill almost doubled from our average monthly consumption. It almost gave me a heart attack but dear sister shared something to pay the electric bill so it’s just OK. Besides, we’re using 4 computers now and 2 electric fans. So aside from the long hours of using the air conditioner, there are others that contributed to the huge consumption.
Talking about air conditioning unit, reading about round rock ac repair reminds me of the seems to be defective air conditioning unit of our neighbor. Once they turn on their aircon, it sounds like a ship’s engine. We sometimes make fun of it but their unit must badly need to call for an air conditioning service austin to check and clean their unit. This reminds me of scheduling a cleaning when I can. Our unit hasn’t been cleaned (inside) since almost 3 years ago.

Every year we different themes emerge in the world of weddings. In the same way that colours go in and out of fashion so do themes. This year is the year of the fun, personal and natural wedding as opposed to glamour and showbiz feel of previous years. Here are some top themes for 2012!
Roll Up For a Circus Wedding Theme
Circus themed wedding are becoming very popular and as it is such a bright and fun theme it is not hard to see why. Choose an invite that is shaped like an old fashioned ticket for starters. Your guests will love to receive such an unusual invitation! Choose traditional circus colours like yellow, red and blue to accent your invites with. For wedding favours choose stripy bags crammed full of sweets and other treats. Decorate your hall with bunting and have a fabulous big top themed wedding cake. These days you can even hire candy floss and lemonade makers with traditional stalls that can be put up at your wedding.
Key Points: Stripes, Bunting, Sweets
Get Back to Nature & Go Rustic
Rustic weddings are going to be huge this year! We’re talking weddings in barns and all sorts of rickety out door places. The sun is setting on the overly preened and perfect wedding day and now is the time of the unaffected and verdant celebration. Go for browns, greens, whites and oranges for this theme. Have exposed wood dining tables and a mass of flora and fauna at your venue. Choose materials like hessian, twine and most importantly; Burlap! Little chalk board place settings work well with this theme as do glass lanterns and big wooden signs.
Key Points: Burlap, Greenery, Wood
Stripped Back Shabby Chic
This goes hand in hand with the rustic theme and the fact that brides are opting for much cuter and laid back wedding themes than in previous years. Shabby chic is a huge style at the moment and the shabby chic wedding theme is going to be one of the biggest of the year. Go for the pastel shades that epitomise shabby chic which are blues, pinks, greens and whites. Choose an invite with a dainty floral pattern and a distressed edge. For your wedding table choose floral cups with gold rims and matching saucers. Choose birdcage centre pieces and tables covered in petals.
Key Points: Floral Patterns, Patel Shades, Distressed Materials
