Check the labels and look for natural ingredients
Posted on Apr 30, 2008 under Personal Care | No CommentThe skin on the face is the most delicate as they say. So, it must be taken care of more than any other part of the body. Yet, with the many skin care products in the market, it’s really hard to chose. The most important thing to consider in choosing a skin product is the ingredients. It must be natural and noncomedogenic so that you will not suffer from cosmetic allergy like me.
Yes, I suffered from cosmetic allergy 5 years back. I used a beauty product that doens’t “match” to my skin type. I wasn’t aware it was cosmetic allergy until I consulted a dermatologist. I thought it has something to do with pressure at work but I am absolutely wrong. So, the dermatologist adviced me to stop using my facial wash and moisturizer for the meantime and observe on the result. After a week or two, my pimples are gone. It was then that I asked my friend (where I bought the products) to replace the products for me and so she did. Since then, I am using products from the same manufacturer because I believe that the ingredients are all mild and it won’t hurt my skin. It is noncomedogenic and without preservatives. Many beauty and skin care products are now skin “friendly” for its ingredients. Natural Beauty Products are now out in the market to address womens vanity for our skin with the assurance that the ingredients are not toxic. The products are tested on humans as it was for people’s use and not to animals.
So, next time you shop for beauty products, read the labels first and check for its ingredients. That way, you’ll be sure that you’re buying the right thing for your most treasured part of the body….your face.
