The Velocity 6x is a compact sling pack designed for a compact digital or film SLR with a zoom lens attached up to 5″ long, another small lens or flash and accessories. Inside the main compartment, the camera with lens attached is suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers. The Velocity 6x can becarried comfortably like a backpack, but need not be removed to quickly access photo equipment. The well-padded sling strap comfortably distributes the weight and when the bag is swung around to the front, the secure zippered top opens away from the body for fast, convenient access to camera gear. The front pocket has organizer pockets inside to keep a mobile phone, PDA or photo accessories within reach. It also features Tamrac’s patented Memory & Battery Management System™ that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up. A pocket inside the lid stores filters and lens caps. This pack is also customizable with Tamrac’s Modular Accessory System™ components.

Been eyeing for the TAMRAC VELOCITY 6X camera bag in the internet for weeks now. I was planning to buy it in eBay but was hesitant because it might take so long before it will be delivered here and I’ve been planning to use it during the Kadayawan Festival’s Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan (Kadayawan Festival street dancing) on the 23rd with fellow FPS members. Last weekend, we were at Funtronics in Gaisano Mall to check for replacement battery and CF card that I need for the upcoming shoot. Instead of asking for the battery and CF card, the Tamrac bags on display caught my attention. It’s price is the same as with that in DP Online (I wanted to get one in DP Online but I don’t time to go to the bank to deposit the payment). Hence, after trying it out if our Canon 400D fits in and if wearing it is convenient for me, Ace said “ok, will get it” without second thought. Haha…Ace’ frugal trait didn’t work this time. :-)

The Canon 400D really fits in the bag and since we don’t have extra lens nor a flash, there’s room for my little personal things. And if by chance we can afford to get another lens, I guess it will fit in the bag not unless it’s the long lens Ace has been dreaming of.

hi! you’re in photography, right? what kind of slr and compact camera do you think is nice? is g9 worth it?

    thanks!

Hi Mommy Sheng! G9 is a powershot wherein limited ka sa automatic settings ng cam but as far as I know it’s the best powershot made by Canon. If you want to go into photography wherein you can set the camera setting on ur own style and taste, go for a DSLR para ma-change mo rin lens depending or your photography style. For amateurs like us, a 400D (Rebel Xti) is good as in. D ako nagsisi that we got this. Tamang-tama lang din ang laki at bigat for ladies like us. Or may bago ata ngayon, yung 450D. Basta, go for Canon. Go, go go….bili na! D ka magsisi. It’s worth the investment. :-)

Add Tamrac accessories to the Strap Accessory System (S.A.S ) attachment slots to customize the bag. Digital Payment
