Today we are celebrating Mamang’s birthday. Celebration doesn’t mean party, but in our hearts we are celebrating Mamang’s 60th natal day.

To the best mother to us – her daughters and sons-in-law, the best grandmother to her grandchildren (though she didn’t see Eman), to Ace’ fave cook before me (and he uses Mamang’s dishes as a reference to mine),
