So our company outing is moved on July. It’s supposed to be last Saturday but the resort is not available so the team decided we’d do it on July. Beach outing on July? It’s rainy season by then!LOL. As long as we’re going to the beach, I don’t mind if it’s summer of rainy season.

Hope it won’t just be a day trip on July but an we’d stay there overnight! I will get decent sleeping bags for me and for Ace so we could have a restful night at the beach. The resort we’re going to is not developed yet so there’s no comfortable cottage where we could spend the night. With the handy sleeping bags, Ace and I could sleep on the sand if cottage is not available! Talk about adventure! I am just excited.

I just said I am preparing for summer in my previous post. I am almost done, actually! Here’s what I got the other week (after so many years of planning to buy decent swimwear).

I had a hard time choosing what to buy but thanks to Ace for telling me to get the two pairs of swimsuit and one cover-up because we will be having a busy summer as we already have 3 scheduled beach getaways. I only need another pair of swimsuit and 1 plain white cover-up for the three beach trips with family, friends and colleagues respectively. It means, I’ll be wearing three different outfit for the three trips. Yay! The purpose for having many pairs? For photo op, so I won’t be using the same beach wear in all our trips.LOL.

Holy week will be in less than two weeks and I am excited! Lent season is the time for us to have fun in the beach. As early as last month I booked two cottages for us and we will be staying there for two nights and three days. That will give Ella the time of her life because she always complain about staying overnight whenever we go swimming.

I started preparing what we need. Aside from food, the thing I should not forget to bring is waterproof sunblock. I don’t have to worry about getting it online because I always look up at Shopwiki.com. They are the most comprehensive shopping site. Name it and they have it. So why the fuss of shopping at other shopping sites when I could get everything I need from them? I got even more excited to see Mineral cosmetics and organic health products that are not carried by malls here. I have to check the makeup must haves for I need it once in a while. My lipsticks and mascaras are more than 3 years already and need replacement. Concealers is a must-have too to hide eyebags and dark circle under my eyes. Before I forget, I’ll include a foundation in my list to complete my must-have kit.

I will also get a travel-friendly kit for hubby that includes Beard Lube Conditioning Shave, All Over Wash for Face, Hair & Body, Face Buff Energizing Scrub, and Intense Therapy Lip Balm. As vain as he is, he would really love this because it has everything he needs just in a small pouch.
