Happy Birthday Mamang!!!

Today is supposed to be Mamang’s 62nd birthday. She may not be celebrating this day with us now, I know she is having a grand time in heaven with the angels.

Mamang

Journaling: Five years has passed since I cannot greet you personally on your birthday. It has been that long but you are always in my thoughts every single day that God has made. No amount of words could describe how I miss you – your very comforting voice, the tender loving care, and the unconditional love of a mother. It has never been easy for me without you. I may be secretive about my personal concerns then but the thought of you being behind me all the way is enough to comfort me. Now it’s totally different. I may not be able to talk to you but I know you are watching over me – over us. I can’t thank you enough for being such the best mother in the whole world – for taking care of us – your family – while doing your day job as a public school teacher. I love you and I miss you!

Happy Birthday Mamang!!!

Stuck at home

Wet season is here! It’s been raining almost everyday for the past week. I love it though because we don’t need to turn on the electric fan for us to feel comfortable in this not so ventilated house.

But then it sucks big time when you are supposed to be going out and the rain is pouring so hard since 4PM in this part of the city. We are supposed to have dinner with PILs to celebrate FIL’s birthday but we are stuck at home. Times like this, I wish we have a car so we could go out rain or shine! Taking a public transport at this time is really hard so might as well stay at home and work. I don’t want to risk going out because I am pretty sure we will be stuck on the road because most areas are definitely flooded with this kind of downpour.

We’ll just have another celebration next time.

Ella turns 8

Today Ella turns eight years old. It seems like only yesterday when she turned one and now she’s 8! Where did time go?

Ella @ 8

They are all spending the night here at home for we are going to the beach later today. The balloons are ready, including her cake. So before the clock strike 12 midnight, Carol dressed her up and let her pose for a photo.

So hard to get a decent shot so we decided to have a photo op early morning when she wakes up. But before I put the camera back in the bag, she was in the mood for another pose.

To our Princess, Happy Birthday!!!
