Life’s Lessons

At four AM I am already awake! My dream about Carol, Ella and Eman woke me up and I had a hard time going back to sleep. I’m having palpitation so I got up and turned the laptop on. I missed being online last night because we went to the neighbor’s place for her birthday dinner and we stayed there until past 11 in the evening. The moment we got home, I am already sleepy so I joined Ace (who dozed off immediately after his back hit the bed) in bed.

Now I am catching up with work but when I checked my dashboard, viola! Eight of my tasks that are due on the 27th are gone! Sad! I found over FB that some friends also lost some tasks due on the same date. But we’re hoping there’s more tasks to come in the next few days! No reason to cry over spilled milk so move on! There are other opportunities awaiting my time. I must start the day right.

The house is back to normal…with only me, Ace and Che2x together with Kiaw-Kiaw (the cat), Puto and Maya (the dogs) around. The househelp has long been gone (it’s almost a month now) then Carol and family has moved from Trento to Davao but they are now renting a place near the subdivision where we both got a house. We already miss Ella and Eman here for the house is so quiet without Ella.

My story about yesterday’s bonding isn’t over yet. After a short trip to the mall and a little grocery shopping, Carol wanted to have a buffet dinner so we headed to Probinsya – a buffet restaurant located at the Victoria Plaza compound. It so happened that Donald’s uncle together with his whole family is there so they had a short catching up. It should be a perfect time for photo taking but we didn’t bring our cameras. I purposely didn’t bring the camera because I thought we’d be going home after the ukay-ukay shopping. My bad! It’s the first time that I went out without the cam (except when I am going to the market). Next time I won’t be leaving the camera when we’d go out. Carol, on the other hand wasn’t bale to bring their camera because she can’t locate it.
