Heavy Equipment toys

At two years old, my nephew easily outgrown his educational toys. His interests shifted to toy cars and then to heavy equipment. Yes, I am talking about the heavy equipment on the road that he sees every time they travel to and from Davao. There are lots of road works along the way that he is always thrilled to see those backhoes, graders, asphalt equipment and the like. He must be amazed at the huge heavy equipment that is why he is so interested in those. Not only that my nephew sees the heavy equipment on the road due to road works/repair but he gets too see those surplus heavy equipment displayed in some surplus shops along the way going to the city from our place. He don’t fail to shout “backhoe” every time he sees backhoes along the road. For the love of backhoe and other heavy equipment, he has lots of heavy equipment toys from the surplus shop that we frequent.

Kahit saan magpunta bitbit ang laruan.

Just look at the photo, Eman takes his favorite heavy equipment toys anywhere we go and play with it even if we are seated in a restaurant waiting for our food.

Speaking of the surplus heavy equipment being sold here in our place, I wonder how those huge equipment were brought here and if there is really a market for it. Are those people selling the heavy equipment really making money? But since surplus shops for cars and heavy equipment are growing in number, then maybe this kind of business is really booming – should I say, making money.

Working while waiting

What a day! My hormones got me and I am totally pissed off. So instead of working for my pending tasks that are due tomorrow, I destressed by scrapping. Thanks to digital scrapbooking for being my destressor lately! After a few pages, I am feeling okay so am back to work before Ella and Eman (of course with their Mommy and Daddy) will arrive to fetch us up. We’re spending the night with them because it’s been a while since we visited their place. Should I will not finish my tasks tonight (before we drive to Digos), I hope I’d be able to finish everything tomorrow. I really hope. Need moolah, seriously. So I don’t want my tasks to expire.

I badly need a durable helmet

Haven’t seen Ella and Eman for a week now. I missed the two kids so much! Even Ace missed Eman’s antics and would occasionally mention Eman in our conversations. If only their place is just a few minutes drive from here, we would go there any minute that we feel like visiting them. The easiest and cheapest way to go there is by riding Ace’ motorbike. BUT unless I will have one of those Compacc.com hjc motorcycle helmets I’ve seen one online, I would ride to Digos City because it is too risky. Unlike Ace’ helmet that is durable, mine is a cheapo one. Obviously, it is not durable. Hence, I won’t ride in Ace’ motorbike going to my sister’s place unless I have my own durable motorcycle helmet. Hope to get one soon so we can drive to Digos anytime that we feel like going.
