Ace’ health insurance

I don’t have to worry now if we’ll be sick because Ace’ health benefits covers ALL dependents. Aside from the government mandated health insurance which is PhilHealth, the company is generous enough to give another medical and dental benefit to their employees and their legitimate dependents. Hence, I don’t have to worry about us getting sick (God forbid!) and being hospitalized. Compared to his previous employer, the current medical benefits is more than good enough. Now I could get preggy because we don’t have to worry much about giving birth through CS (again, God forbid!) just in case because the company will subsidize a certain amount. Continue Reading »

One of the most important thing a person should have….a health insurance. Some even have 2 health insurances. Sometimes, it isn’t that practical having more than 1 health insurance but in some cases, it’s a good thing for in case you will be hospitalized and have exhausted the maximum coverage limit, the other health insurance will cover for the expenses. That’s one of the many benefits of the employees of some companies. They have the gov’t mandated health insurance and the HMO (Health Maintenance Org.). 

One shouldn’t be impulsive in getting a health insurance. The inclusions should be well-understood as well as the exclusions. Yes, that’s a fact, in health insurances, there’s always exclusions in the coverage. Hence, not all sickness and hospital or treatment expenses will be shouldered by the company. So, before getting a  health insurance, one should carefully study the terms of agreement or the policy. Anyway, people thriving in California can get a good health insurance by asking for a California health insurance quote from Kaiser Permanente Health Insurance. The site provides insurance quotes both for individual or family and group. The great news for this is Kaiser covers for pregnancy-related check-ups and other expenses not like with most health insurance companies.

Demand for a Group Life Insurance

When I was conducting company orientation to new hires, aside from the company policies being discussed, it was such a tedious task enumerating all the benefits (both government mandated and company initiated). Everything was layed down from the benefits they are eligible upon employment (the government mandated such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig, and 13th month pay), the benefits they can avail upon regularization (Health Plan, Group Life Insurance, Uniform Subsidy and Rice Subsidy, and the Annual Merit Increase), and other benefits they can avail one year after their regularization (Sick and Vacation Leaves, Bereavement/Nuptial Leaves). When I ask them if they understood everything I have told them, I got a big YES from them. I presume everything’s being understood.
