This is Kingkang, our coin bank. I think I have posted about Kingkang before. I bought this coin bank the other year as we are saving for our trip to Camiguin but it was diverted to our wedding expenses. Now, we are saving again for our trip to Cebu and Dumaguete on October to attend Ace’ sister’s wedding. To date, the total amount of coins inside Kingkang is around PhP3,000. Enough for our fare. Hence, what we can save starting today will be for our pocket money. :-) After October, will be saving again for another trip or camera gear that we wanted. Now I am planning to buy 2 or 3 more coin banks to save up for different purposes. I like it this way because it’s the most subtle way to save.

This is Kingkang. This photo was taken months back. I think I have mentioned about Kingkang in my previous posts. He’s our Red tabby cat that was born in the gutter. After being with us for more than 2 years, he was lost. Kingkang’s loss affected us much especially Ace. Now we have a coin bank named after Kingkang. Last year, we used the amount we collected from  Kingkang helped us in paying some of the expenses for our wedding. For this year, we are saving for Borski & Nai’s BIG DAY this coming October. Ace even put Kingkang in the living room and put something like “DONATIONS PLEASE. 5 OR 10 PESO COINS ONLY“. Wanna donate for Kingkang? Just leave a message.LOL.

Kiaw-Kiaw (our pet cat) went out of the house yesterday….unnoticed. He is not used in the “outside world” for he is confined in the four walls of the somewhat storage and laundry area at the back of the house. Last week, Kiaw-Kiaw went out but he’s back after a couple of hours. Now, he was out almost 24 hours. We even left the main door quite open last night in case he’ll be home while we are asleep.

Ace seemed worried last night and was wondering if Kiaw-Kiaw will be back. I didn’t say a word because I am guilty. I left the kitchen door open and was confident that Ella is playing with him in the room. When I asked Ella where’s Kiaw-Kiaw, she said it’s in our room so, I just didn’t checked if he is still in our bedroom. Later did we realized that he’s not around when my youngest sister is calling to feed him and no reaction from the back room.

The whole day, I was wondering where is Kiaw-Kiaw. Later on, while Ella was playing outside, she’s calling for Kiaw-Kiaw and she was surprised to see our pet emerged from the neighboring container yard and directly went inside the house. Whew! What a relief! I thought he’s gone forever like Kingkang. For sure, Ace will be happy to see his pet back.

Anyway, since Kiaw-Kiaw is back, I can now concentrate working on my assignments…this time, will be checking what is blepharoplasty in Chicago.
