Back Pains

For the second time, I had my thoracolumbar x-ray last January to check the degree of my scoliosis. The first one was last year. I experienced frequent back pains before and I noticed that the left side of my back is swelling. Our company doctor found out that there is a slight convexity of my thoracic spine (thoracic dextroscoliosis) and leftward convexity of the lumbar spine (lumbar levoscoliosis). I don’t usually feel at ease when undergoing x-rays though it is not painful. I’m concerned about the harmful effect of it that’s why I limit it to twice a year, at most. Anyhow, I have noticed that x-ray technicians are getting younger and younger these days. Gone are the days when only one x-ray technician is on duty for the whole shift. Since many medical schools are now offering certification on xray technician, many are encouraged to undergo training because the demand for x ray technician is getting higher. Well, back to my last x-ray experience, Ace was shocked when he was called by the technician to go inside the room. Isn’t it harmful for Ace? Well, I hope not.
