Such a rainy day yesterday. It was pouring early in the afternoon until evening. I and Ace are scheduled to go to downtown to withdraw money for Che-Che’s tuition fee and Carol’s payment for her pc so I was hoping it would stop before Ace arrives from work. The rain finally stopped at around 2100h. Ace was home around 2200h and we went straight to downtown though it’s quite chilly outside.
After we got the money, we went to have our favorite french fries, sundae and McFlurry at McDo. It’s again a cold treat on a chilly night…a great treat after Ace’ stressful day at work. After more than 30 minutes of updating each other what’s happening to OHJ and his work, we went home with a large cup of softdrink. Hmmm….good for me. It’s been two days since my system had softdrink and I miss it a lot!
Before we went inside the yard, I went to check our water valve because I’ve been suspecting it was turned off because we don’t have water since the other night. Che-Che was awake half of the night to wait for the water and even left the faucets on so that we would know if there’s water already but we woke up w/o any water. All the while we were thinking there’s really water interruption only to find out our water valve was almost closed. I was so pissed. How come it happened? Don’t tell me the water valve closed without somebody turning the dial off. If I caught somebody in the act, he/she’ll surely get a dose of his/her own medicine. Just imagine how we suffer for not having enough water. Anyway, I and Che-Che are then busy filling all containers with water and went to bed at 1AM.

Travelling to the country’s capital is one of the many things I missed when I left my previous job. For my third OB (Official Business) trip two years ago, I’ve been very excited ‘coz the whole team will be going to Tagaytay City to attend the 1st URC HR Conference. My boss planned for our itenirary since it will be my first time there. For us to have some bonding time together, we need to be in Tagaytay Sunday afternoon so I took the 2nd flight of Cebu Pacific (we are not allowed to fly thru any airline for OB trips because it is also owned by the Gokongwei’s…but we don’t have special previleges. Geese! Anyway, their money is revolving within the companies they own).
Back to my trip, I was already in Manila Domestic Airport at almost 1PM and waited for my boss to fetch me. I haven’t took my lunch yet as I only had Quake Cake and my favorite C2 for merienda, the food served in the aircraft. After one hour, I’m already starving but I cannot leave my things so that I could buy something to eat. Another option is to leave the airport and go to my aunt’s house in Pildera, a few minutes from the airport, but I’m afraid my boss would arrive anytime. I texted my cousin, Marichel for rescue and she said they’ll be at the airport in few minutes ‘coz they were at SM Sucat having lunch with her older sister’s family. They brought me my favorite McDo treats (Burger McDo and French Fries) so I was able to eat.
Whew! I’m back….I’m writing this post earlier. Actually, I’m already done with this very long post when….oppppssss! Here we are again. Our server is down (again!)*sigh*. Only half was saved and now, I’m back to finish my story.

It’s been a while since I and Ace last ate our fave food from McDo….french fries and hamburger. Also, add McFlurry in the list. Of all the french fries I have tasted, I like most McDo’s french fries for its real potato taste. Of course, the treat would not be complete without my favorite carbonated drink….coke. It satisfies my craving after eating those fave food from McDo.

I was so preoccupied that I forgot to write something. I was engrossed in blog hopping…reading other’s blogs until I felt so sleepy that I had to take a nap between 6-8PM. My body clock drastically changed since I started blogging. Much more when we got an online job that we need to be awake whole night. I know not getting enough sleep will eventually affect my skin. Anyway, there are all natural skincare products available that I can use since I am allergic to chemically formulated products. Whew! It’s already Monday…almost 1AM to be exact. Ace had to sleep early for he has a whole day pre-employment exam today…and if he’ll finish early, maybe he could have his medical exam. Weird, right? The process is different from my practice with my previous jobs….pre-employment exam first before the final interview. Anyho, that’s their style. The important thing is, he’s a got a job. My niece was happy upon knowing that Totis (that’s what she calls Ace when she’s 1-2 years old for she cannot pronounce Tito Ace) got a job for she can now eat at McDo more often*lorl*.
