Fumes damaged my CPU’s video card
The fumes in my previous job damaged a lot in the plant (fumes are coming from the neighboring Oil Mill). Metals, alloy or anything deteriorates so fast. It’s the reason why computers don’t last long. Brand new PC could only last for 2 years at most. PC technicians were so busy by the frequent repairs/check-ups. The first part of the CPU that was damaged in my first PC was the video card. After almost 6 months, it was again replaced until the CPU won’t boot just in time for cut-off and I have no way of doing the timekeeping since the system was installed only in my PC. Times like these, I got so pissed for everybody will not receive their salary. After my CPU was replaced, I was also issued with another set as back-up and ISD (Information Systems Division sent a number of mouse, keyboards, video cards, and motherboards for those parts don’t last long due to fumes. Since we have spare of those parts, downtime is lessened for technicians can immediately replace damaged part and the computer is working again.
