Weekend Snapshot: Big Bike

This is really late…better late than never.LOL. Ace arrived so early last Saturday so we had time to go to the mall for window shopping. First we went to SM to check with CameraHaus if they have available UV filter. Luckily, they have the last piece of UV filter that fits the size of our 400D’s lens. It’s much more cheaper than the one sold at Funtronics in GMall. We had it installed by the store personnel. He also gave us tips on using the creative mode of the DSLR. Yey! I’ve learned something. Ace was like, “You should take the basic photography workshop. You’ll learn some more.” After some walk around SM, we hop in to GMall. Ace wanted to get a pair of slippers so we went to Lord Anthony but he didn’t get one. It was our nth time there looking for a pair of slippers. He was in a hurry leaving the store. Only to find out he was so hungry so we went to Greenwhich for some pizza and lasagna. While eating, we saw this big motorbike being displayed in the mall’s lobby. Hence, we took a snap of this beautiful huge motorcycle after eating. While I was taking this photo, Ace was like “Neng, if you ride that, you will look like a little kid in a motorcycle”.

He wants another Harley

Two of my high school batchmates died due to motorcycle accident when we were still college freshmen. One of which, died with his father due to that vehicular accident. They haven’t enjoyed their life yet it ended so soon. Regardless of what have happened, we still ride a motorcycle back home. It’s the simplest means of transportation in our area. It’s safe,  I guess for short distance drive. In the city, I have seen a lot of people still riding a motorcycle but not much in the busy streets. When I first saw a “big bike” such as Harley in the city, I was like “wow!”. Seldom did I see it back home. And when I was employed in URC, I was amazed that many of the employees own such and they used it in going to work. A day came when one of them met an accident. His Harley was in total wreck (good thing he only suffered from bone fracture). After the accident, seems he has not been traumatized because he was still planning to get another one. Since brand new Harley costs a lot, he was looking for some used Harleys to replace the wrecked one. I hope this time he’ll be more careful in driving.
