Life’s Lessons

Since Kadayawan is over and I am on rest mode from OHJ, lots of things are in my to do list. As usual, the laundry is on number 1 slot since I haven’t done it last weekend. I have to do it today or else, I will be fired by my boss because he’ll have no uniform to wear tomorrow. Another thing is to sort out the ”to keep” and “to go clothes”. I have given away almost 2 boxes last May and will be giving away another batch because it won’t fit our available closet space. 90% of the space is being used to store old things such as the old computer units, my BIL’s old clothes, shoe boxes, etc. I don’t know where to store those so I stocked them all in the closet. To sum it up, our room seems like a stockroom.

Another wardrobe cabinet is not a good idea because our room space is just enough for what we have now. I and Ace have lots of clothes that we aren’t wearing and I’d better give it away so somebody could benefit from it. Continue Reading »

Ace is talking about getting tired of his work. His load is so much for his position resulting to some pending tasks. Though he should be reporting to his supervisor, other superiors are also expecting results from him. That’s the disadvantage of having so many bosses. He has my sympathy as I’ve been to that situation before that made me tired of my job until I decided to quit. I don’t know what to say to Ace so he’d gain back his motivation. He has been supportive with me when I said I wanted to quit. Now, I don’t know if giving back that same support for him would be the best for us. Ace wanted to continue working in OHJ as he was a coder before he joined the corporate world. BUTTOCKS. One of my bloopers during my shift in OHJ. All coders are in YM conference while working. Hence, we have time to chat when qeue is low. We were all laughing in the conference when I said it and I didn’t realized that what I typed in is the wrong word not until Ate Arcie - our HOH (Head of Household) corrected me. Yay! It was really shameful. What I meant is BOTOX. Why botox? Being HOH is so stressful because she has to manage the qeue, see to it that manpower is just enough, make sure that everybody’s on and working, and call for FOCs when needed. She has to manage that tasks aside from coding. Isn’t that stressful? In the corporate world, she acts like a manager while doing the task of her subordinates. Everytime she’s about to flare up, we would say to her “ang wrinkles…” (your wrinkles…). Then my BUTTOCKS came in the conversation when it should be BOTOX. But botox is so expensive hence would rather resort to anti wrinkle cream because it’s cheaper.

Nothing so important happened here except that I am on REST MODE from OHJ since Thursday. I don’t know what’s wrong that I didn’t spent long hours the past days in my coding job and yet I felt like so exhausted. I woke up Thursday morning feeling dizzy and have a mild sore throat. Good that the sore throat was gone after drinking lotsa water. But my energy level is too low that I wanted to just lie down. Think I’m having a slight fever because I felt chilly though it’s been so humid around here. I texted Ace that I am not feeling well and he went home for lunch. He brought home my favorite C2 (Cool and Clean) - brewed green tea in Apple flavor - and we had a sumptuous lunch though I didn’t eat much. I think I am bloating that my tummy seemed full yet I haven’t eaten that much. After lunch, Ace went back to work and I took a rest after blogging for around 1 hour. After taking a nap, I felt quite well and the sun is already setting so I decided to walk to SunCity where I usually have sunset shoots. I put on my favorite capri pants and oh gosh, it took me a while to put it on. It’s too tight now that I had to inhale and hold my breath so that I could close the zipper. The bulges around my waist is an indication that I gained weight. Do you think I need a weight loss diet pills to get rid of that unwanted fats? Sadly the sun hid behind the dark thick clouds*pout*. Not bad though because I had the chance to walk around that made sweat a bit.

Ace checked on me once more. He was here for lunch yesterday bringing with him some food. He knew I was working and before I went online, I haven’t cooked food for my lunch. Hence, he was here to see if I am really eating lunch. Every time he goes to work he was reminding me to eat and he seemed not convinced if I tell him I am eating here. Frankly, I like it this way.LOL. But Ace can’t just come home every lunch….not unless he will not commute.

After lunch, I went back to work, volunteered to log out early because I need to shoot for my assignment in Panning (shooting subjects in motion, keeping it focused while blurring the background). I went out to the street and started shooting with the camera mounted on the tripod. I thought I don’t need tripod for this shoot but Rhoen suggested that I should use to prevent camera shake. I had a hard time learning how to do panning. While I am reading how to do it, it seems very easy but practically hard to get it right. It took me numerous shots before I got my desired shot. Finally! I tell you, it’s really not easy as others are saying it needs much practice and luck.

After the shoot, I went back home and worked in OHJ. I just logged off when Ace arrived from work. We had pork BBQ for dinner and our favorite…COKE. See, I am a coke addict and Ace is becoming one. My addiction is contagious.LOL.
