Still can’t get over my lost Page Rank.*pout*. I feel like I am one of the inflatable boats that was pricked and little by little is losing air. In effect, I am not in the mood to do coding this time. I just wanna sit in front of the PC and read something worthwhile so that I could forget about my loss. It’s a big thing for me because I have worked hard for it for the past few months since I started blogging but wasn’t able to maintain it after getting that PR. Ace was trying to comfort me by shifting my attention to the DSLR’s accessories we will be getting couple of days from now. He was like “forget about your PR”. I know I’ll be getting over it soon. I have regrets for not doing my part to be able to maintain my sought-after Page Rank. Anyway there’s still tomorrow. Hence, I still have hope to gain it back. Wish me luck!
Off the topic. Since I mentioned about inflatable boats, I was reminded of the beach. I was so happy I found one that has waves..the Bago Beach Resort. I find waves a lot of fun and I find beaches without waves quite boring. Most of the beaches in Samal Island are “waveless”. If there’s any, they are too small that I don’t find it thrilling. But still, I love beaches because of the scenery.

A write-up on website visibility has been posted before but I think there’s still need to post about it just to elaborate it more. Website visibility is one sure way to gain traffic and eventually, page rank. Others are putting more effort on linking to other related sites. But that work is too tedious. I just can’t figure it out how one can link to thousands and thounds of sites in the world wide web. It will really take us forever to finish it and by the time your site is already visible, your site is far behind everybody who chose the easiest way to gain visibility by submitting to directories. However, for business purposes the best way to reach a great number of readers and potential customers is through site visibility, resulting to an increase in sales. As much as everybody wants their site to be visible to the millions or even billions of readers and customers, so is the free directory site want to render service for free. Anybody can submit his/her site to its corresponding category as long as it meets certain site requirements. This means, submission is not limited to only one category but as many as you think your site belong. After submission, it would only take 24 hours at most for the site to be listed in the directory. Presto! the site can now be seen by your target readers and customers.

Blog’s rank doesn’t matter with me before until I signed up with blog advertising companies. With barely 2 month-old blog, mine is almost at the end of list in ranking or have a low market value. Since advertisers prefer blogs with Google page ranks, getting a high-paid opps is next to impossible. In short, I don’t qualify to take it. However, it’s better than nothing.
I was wondering how Google page rank can be achieved. Alexa and Technorati’s principle in page ranking is well understood for I can see my ranking increased as my link to other sites is increasing in number. I have read articles in increasing a page rank but I cannot get it’s point. According to the articles, one way to achieve PR is to submit the site to search engines and link to other related sites. But seems it isn’t true. I have come across sites that aren’t that good enough, with barely a thousand or more visitors, that has less than a hundred links but it does have a PR of 3. How come it happened?
Good thing that IZEARanks.com was launched. Blogs registered in this site will have their RealRank using blog ranking system based on traffic and the influence of blog. I hope IZEARanks.com is as good as other relevant rankings that’s considered by advertisers in laying the opportunities to the marketplace. This way, blogs that with a PR may possibly have a high ranking or otherwise. Early today, I signed up for IZEARanks.com and I think the system is good enough. I just had to copy a code and paste it in my page’s html. Though figuring out where to paste it took me almost an hour, finally it was a success. I’ll just have to wait until tomorrow for my RealRank to appear and I hope this could help my blog elevate to higher level to qualify for high-paying opportunities. Moreover, Izearank is not only about ranking but my blog will also be visible to others who have signed up. Thus, it could possibly add traffic to my site.
