Career as Pharmacy Technician
My niece, MGEL (my cousin’s daughter) took up BS Pharmacy in one of the universities in the city. I really don’t know what motivated her to take such course. Her grandmother asked her what are her plans after taking the board exam and she immediately said she wanted to be employed abroad. I thought opportunities for BS Pharmacy graduates are just limited in pharmacies or in the hospitals and it’s the only course that will qualify anybody to be working in a pharmacy as a pharmacist. Neither did I realized that the academe also offers a course on pharmacy tech. Graduates of such course lands a job as a pharmacy technician and I guess pharmacy technician salary is just competitive as other tech jobs.
