Ace got home a little bit late last night. Before he went in, he called me out to check on Puto because he was trapped outside the fence. It’s Puto’s fault, by the way because I’ve been pulling him in but he wouldn’t so I just left him there the whole day. Puto is so hard-headed that if he doesn’t like, he would heed you. Hence, I punished him by staying the whole day outside. He was only pulled in when Ace got home. They played a little bit as I said to Ace Puto needs a little bit of exercise. I got the flashlight so that we could have a little bit of lighting since the flourescent in the veranda was busted which reminds me that we need to get an outdoor lighting that I’ve been telling Ace days after the flourescent lamp was busted. From time to time I temporarily put the study lamp ouside to light the dogs. Last night was an excemption because I used the lamp in our room. So that’s Ace’ another assignment. Hope he won’t forget to get a flourescent lamp during our next trip to the hardware.

It’s only 3PM but I am so sleepy already. Haven’t got ENOUGH rest for the past week because of indefinite schedule for work. Aside from my 5-day regular schedule, I need to be online from time to time to help manage the qeue. Carol was even online the whole night for two successive nights I think. With me, I can’t stand that graveyard shift so I just go online for a couple of hours or more but not the whole night. I might be terminated for sleeping while on duty if that’s the case.

I felt guilty for not updating this blog aside from the daily photo meme that I am posting to have something new for the frequent visitors. Since I am busy with OHJ, I am now limited to 1 or 2 posts a day and  I cannot manage to hunt for opps anymore*pout*. Hence, moolah will be lesser this time. Hmm…not bad because I still have OHJ. Thanks God.

Anyway, last Tuesday was not an ordinary day. It’s different from all Tuesday we had since I and Ace got married and since he got a corporate job. I was on duty when I heard his voice calling out Puto during lunch time. He was thrilled to see Puto eating his food because he pretends not to like his food and never eats when we are around. Puto was like “i’m shy” when Ace told him “ah-uh….seems you like your food now”. I was shocked to see Ace appear in the front door and instead of saying “hello” I asked ”why are you home?”.LOL. He brought his lunch from their canteen so that I could also eat. Yey! See, over lunch, what I am usually eating is the leftover during breakfast as I don’t have time to cook. Once I started my shift, I could only stand-up for 15-min breaks and bathroom breaks. Fingers are always on the keyboard and eyes on the monitor. That goes my life for 8 hours or more. Hence when my shift ends, I am so exhausted with backache and stomache.hehe. Back to Ace, so he was here for lunch to check if I am really eating.LOL. Anyway, that was a fine lunch though and I hope he will check on me more often.hahaha. I then remember one of our churchmates who is now our godmother saying “checking…” as she hands me the phone (with a big grin) everytime Ace calls when he’s already in his Aunt’s place during our early days in Cebu.

I’ve been talking about our dogs Puto and Maya in my previous posts but haven’t posted their photos yet. Oh, I forget…Maya’s photo was posted as my entry for this meme last week here. Now, it’s time for everybody to meet our hyper dog - Puto. The name Puto was given by my niece, Ella when she was more than 2 years old and Puto was a puppy then.

Normally Davao is typhoon-free but yesterday’s rain seemed like a typhoon rain. It rained so HARD with lightnings and roaring thunders. I am afraid of lightnings because thunders are seconds away so is my sister, Che-Che. What we did all the time is cover our ears but we can still hear it. In our province, when things like this happens, expect a power interruption so I brought out Ace’ flashlight and turned off all appliances. The rain stopped after a while but not the lightnings and thunders. Che-Che was saying “Lord, ulan nalang, wag lang kidlat at kulog” (Lord, let it rain but without lightnings and thunders). Maya and Puto was also frightened so we let them in. Puto was like “yey! I’m in” and played all along and even did “weeee” on the floor. Bad dog! While Puto was enjoying his new environment, Maya was like “Puto, behave” as she sits in the corner watching at Puto having a good time. When the rain finally stopped, Maya went out while Puto pretended to be sleeping. Yes, that dog is best actor like our cat. When Ace calls his attention for doing something wrong, he pretends to be sleeping or he won’t listen to what Ace is telling him.

I hope Mr. Sun will come out today as I have a scheduled “laundry session” and I already miss him for not showing up for days.

At last, my sister’s internet connection was activated yesterday. The antenna was set-up the other day but the connection was not yet activated until yesterday. So, I won’t miss Ella a lot ‘coz we can chat and we’d get to see each other using the webcam. We had a chat with Ella last night. She was bragging about their new house while donald holds the webcam so that we (I and my youngest sister) could see their house. Ella proudly says “yan ang sala namin” (that’s our living room), “yan ang kusina” (that’s the dining room). She seemed so happy because it’s been her prayer to have a house larger than their place before. Though it’s not their own, at least she can temporarily call it “their house”. Anyway, as we are catching up on each other, she wants to talk to Puto and Maya and wanted me to get the 2 dogs so that she could see them and talk to them. I cannot imagine Puto and Maya in front of the PC*LOL*. She seemed to forget Kiawkiaw ‘coz she didn’t look for the cat. If she wanted to talk to our cat, I could easily show her Kiawkiaw but not Puto and Maya. It would be easier for me than getting the 2 dogs. Then, she’s looking for her Lolo and Lola (my PILs) but both are not around as well as her Tito Ace.
