It’s fall here in the Philippines!LOL. We really don’t have fall season as we are only blessed with 2 which are wet (rainy season) and dry (summer). When I and my sister Carol saw this Talisay tree (Terminalia catappa), or the local name of the tropical Almond tree in Isla Reta beach resort (Talicud Island, Davao del Norte) last weekend, we exclaimed “Ruby Tuesday entry”! Time for the Red thing! We’ve seen lots of red during the Kadayawan Festival…from flowers to costumes, accessories and props. Here’s a flower of a hanging plant we saw in the Agro-Trade and Horticulture exhibit. I just forgot to ask the name of the plant. Hence, it’s again nameless. Took this shot using one hand because I am holding a cup of Durian fruit shake on my right and I cannot hand it out to Ace because he’s far from me. I hope I captured it well using my left hand. I’m back in my habitual late posting of memes. Anyway, I think I have posted a photo of Red Hibiscus of our neighbor before in Ruby Tuesday. For my first assignment in our Basic Photography class, I chose the Red Hibiscus as my subject now in creative mode of the DSLR because I have learned to manipulate the camera’s manual setting. My mentor said I should have put something black or something dark in the background to enhance the subject more. Hope I didn’t bore you with this 2nd round post of Red Hibiscus. Happy Tuesday!

It’s another flower power here. I love flowers! Isn’t it too obvious?LOL. I already posted lotsa flowers and here’s another beautiful one. My first time to see a real Red Gerbera. I usually see peach, pink, yellow and white ones. But this time, it made my list complete. What other colors I haven’t seen? Anyway, here’s the Red Gerbera I am talking about and I am beginning to love RED.
