Wazz up? It’s Tuesday again and I am glad it’s not raining anymore though it’s a bit cloudy outside. Yey! I can see the sun’s rays! What’s new with me? Oh, well I have a new washing buddy. Hubby bought me a washing machine last Saturday so my life would be a lot easier because I’ve been hand washing our clothes. So now I could not burden my back so much. I used the machine for the first time yesterday and I must say it’s a lot of help to me. I even took a nap while the washing machine is working its thing. What a relief that I refused to realize for so long! I say refuse because I know life would be easier with the machine but I am so paranoid that I don’t want our clothes to be machine washed. I don’t even tried going to the laundry shop because they might soil our clothes. In other words, I don’t trust others to do the laundry for us…except for my significant others - sisters and my late Mamang who used to wash my clothes before when I cannot do the laundry. Yesterday was such a long and tiring day yet a happy one as I and our youngest went to the province to attend Ella’s birthday party. We took a regular bus as we don’t want to wait for another 30 minutes for the airconditioned bus. It’s our first time going there and it seems forever waiting for the bus to arrive to our destination. The driver drives so fast even on curves and it made me so nervous. Two passengers were talking about the accident that happened a day before that killed 2 people on the same road we are taking. It made me more nervous as I am not familiar with the road and I don’t know what to expect. Anyway, we arrived safe in Trento after more than 3 hours and we are so happy to see our little princess once again. After the party, we had time to gab with each other and off we went to the terminal to catch on a bus bound for Davao City. We arrived home an hour before midnight and Ace was already off to dreamland. I woke him up and had a midnight snack…his favorite spaghetti and buko salad from Ella’s party.

Yesterday was a looonnnggggg day. It’s laundry day and I have tons of it. Before Ace left for work, he asked me if I can still do it or will get washing machine to make the load lighter for me. Good thing I’m done with Ace’ pants few days ago. I’m halfway done when my hands are already painful. The detergent I’m using is too harsh for my hands but I’ve been using it for so long and it’s only now that I get scratches. Ace arrived from work early and  I showed him my hands. Now he is really thinking of getting a washing machine to save me from those back aches and scratches due to handwashing. Actually, I don’t really like using a machine but that would help with the not so delicate clothes, sheets, blankets and curtains. Hopefully we can get one soon so that PILs will also be saved from going to the laundry shop.

We just stayed at home during the weekend. Nobody seemed in the mood to go out. Since Ace always reminds me that the spaghetti pasta that I received last December as giveaway to the employees is still in noodle container, I decided to cook it last Friday night. Ace is the happiest for this spaghetti ’coz it is one of his fixations. Also, he is the number one fan of my spaghetti. So, for this picture I placed it in a platter I bought (that unused Tupperware platter I bought for PhP20.00) during Ninang Alma’s garage sale before they (with Ninong Rino and Ylai) left for New Zealand. I can’t believe that I took the photos myself….hmmmm….do I have a potential in photography?
