It’s a wet Friday morning! I feel better now than the past days. After the sleepless night in our bedroom the other night, Ace decided to sleep in the living room floor with mat and comforters on. He believed that sleeping in a foam bed is not good if you have cough so we settled in the floor last night. True enough, I had a deep sleep and woke up feeling better. Ace said I should be well…or else we cannot join his colleagues on an island hopping in Samal and Talicud Island on Sunday. He’s actually not interested to join because he wanted to spend the weekend at Lamban’s hotel (Manang Inday and Manong Joey’s house) but his officemates insisted he’ll join and bring our cam so they’ll have photos. It’s one way of saying Ace will be their official photographer for the trip. His officemates are all male but they love posing for a photo. Continue Reading »

We had F-U-N with the capital F in Isla Reta 2 the other Sunday. It’s a 20-minute boat ride from Isla Reta 1. The water is so inviting and the waves are so big that made me afraid of swimming. I love waves but I felt I’d be drown if I go in the water. After a few minutes of enjoying the waves, I gave up while my sisters, BIL and Ella had so much fun. Remember my post about the wedding giveaways project? At last, I’m finally done wrapping the tumblers with white tulle. Yey! Next step will be sewing the sequins and beads in the tulle. I thought that’s the final thing but I just realized I still need to draft the “thank you” tags. Maybe I can request Ace to print it in his office….shhhh! Additional 100 tumblers and shuttlecocks will be purchased on Wednesday, hopefully, after I receive my earnings from blogging tomorrow night. Continue Reading »

Weekend was spent in Isla Reta Beach Resort, Talicud Island. It’s a one-hour boat ride from Sta. Ana wharf. Yesterday, we hired a motorized boat to tour us around the island. It’s summertime once again. It’s beach time! It’s been months since our last bonding in the beach and it was in White Island in Camiguin. So nice to go to the beach again. I hope we can have time before summer ends. Ace told us to prepare on the 20th but I still don’t know if it’ll push thru. Anyway, we can still plan on it on the last minute ’coz we still have tomorrow to prepare. Where are we going this time? We still don’t know. We have gone to Paradise Island, Costa Marina, Fernandez Beach and Blue Waters all located in Samal Island. I like to go back in Isla Reta in Talicud Island where we spent the Lenten season last year but we need to spend overnight there so that we can have ample time to swim and that would be impossible ‘coz Ace and MIL has work on Monday.
