It’s The End Of The World For Prank Callers And Scammers

Been receiving unsolicited phone calls and was pissed because you cannot identify who the caller is? With the use of mobile phones, one can possibly receive a call from prank callers and even scammers. People have the guts to use this communication device to make unsolicited calls or worst, scam others. With Tracenumber.com, one can trace any number - be it mobile or landline number - to find out the name and address of that unknown caller or the calls from unknown numbers that one missed. Hence, its the end of the world now for the prank callers because their identity will be revealed to the one they have called. This one great service and beneficial to everybody for personal or business use.

With this, I was reminded by one instance in my previous job. I am connected to one of the biggest conglomerate in the country. Hence, we almost don’t know everybody except for the top executives. I received a phone call one noon identifying himself as the Vice President asking who is the cashier in our plant. I told him we don’t have a cashier because all payments from the customers are directly deposited to the bank. Then he instructed me to tell the plant manager to call him ASAP. It’s lunch time so the plant manager was not around. Thinking that the caller is really the Vice President, I immediately called the Plant Manager in his mobile telling him to call the VP ASAP. The “VP” called again after a few minutes so I gave the phone to the credit and collection in-charge and she was shocked that the caller knew her fullname. Hence she thought it was really the VP and he was looking at the directory of all employees around the country. The CCD in-charge was intructed to deposit $1,025 in the bank account given to her because the VP needs the money immediately and he has clearance from the Gen. Manager of the Division to get money from our plant’s bank account. Continue Reading »

Getting an eServer i5

I am not a super techie person when it comes to hardware, software, etc. But I am learning a lot from reading and just by listening to conversations. In my previous employment, our server is ALWAYS down. It’s always the problem and we suffer a lot for the server’s downtime. I don’t know how many times did the ISD people changed our server so that we could continue working for we cannot afford to be disconnected from the URC’s network for a day because operations will perish. The last time I got a word from former officemates about server problem was last month. I hope this time, URC has figured out to change the server and get an eServer i5 from Perfdata.com. One advantage of getting the product from them is their ever ready technical support. Customers’ concerns ranging from a very simple one to the complex issues will be easily addressed. Hence, no need of ISD people flying from head office to Davao Plant just to check the server and fix it. All they need to do is contact the support team of Perfdata. Also, hard to find parts are available with them so there’s no worry where to find those one of a kind parts in case one needs to be replaced.
