I’m back after more than a week of not updating this blog. I and Ace just arrived home safe from a 6-day trip to Cebu-Dumaguete-Siquijor. I’m still trying get some rest because it has been a very exhaustive trip. Yet, we enjoyed every day of it. I will have to blog about it in details but I just don’t have time today. Still need to return MIL’s gown to the bridal shop and I hope to be back just in time to prepare for dinner. I’ve been craving for an Isaw (chicken’s intestine) and barbeque so I hope I could buy a ready-to-cook pork BBQ at the mall later. Continue Reading »

After the photo shoot last Sunday, I had a hard time choosing which should be printed for our last session today. As mentioned, the theme is “THE ALPHABET”, hence anything that looks like any of the letter of the alphabet should be the subject. Two photos should be printed and submitted for judging this afternoon. Thus, I was out yesterday to have it printed and bought some materials for the wedding favors of Ace’ sis. I left the files to be printed and was hoping that it would turn out as I wanted it to be. Though I instruced them to print as is, no adjustments be made I am still worried about the outcome to think that each copy costs $1.75 and if I am not satisfied, I have to go to other photo labs. After hopping from one store to another for the giveaways, I went back to the photo lab to claim my orders. Gladly, they did a good job. I hope it could also pass the judges’ taste.

Last night, I tried making sample of the giveaways but it doesn’t look good. The color is not that attractive so I need to find other things I could add on it so that it could make attactive and presentable. It’s the first time I heard Ace say “it’s not beautiful”. Usually, when I am making something, he will just say “it’s beautiful”. I don’t know if he’s playing safe by that. But this time, he meant it. The materials and colors I got are quite boring so I need to go back to the mall and get some things to add on it. For the benefit of everybody, I am making a wedding and the main material should be a shuttlecock. I have put it in a glass, added some decorative stone according to the motif, and wrapped it with a tulle. I think I need to add other colors of the stones and use organza instead of tulle. So, I need to find a sheer organza. I hope its available so that I could make the final sample so that I could show it to Borski and Nai. This isn’t a tough one, just the conceptualization is kinda hard. Well, wish me luck on this project!

BTW, MIL informed us that she already booked us for our October flight. We have availed of the PhP999 all-in promo of Cebu Pacific. Oh, actually not all in because insurance is not covered. But it’s a great deal because regular fare for domestic flights is already PhP5,000++. Yey! We have to travel again! I am excited about that because we’ll get to see close friends and churchmates in Cebu and hopefully see our godmother, Ninang Aida and the kids. SInce it’s travel time again, I guess we need a luggage such as one from Rimowa for our convenience…that if we have extra for it. Will check where we can find the best buy for that. Since we will be bringing the giveaways, guess it will be safer to pack it in a luggage than travel boxes. What do you think?

What? Haven’t posted for 2 days? I only realized it today. Yesterday I haven’t opened my blog. Last Saturday, I worked online and had a class in Basic Photography. It’s our 3rd and last classroom session and I was so excited for the fourth session which is, the photo shoot. I am itching to receive the polarizer I bought from ebay so that I could use it in the photo shoot on Wednesday but it was moved yesterday. Gladly the theme for the shoot is “THE ALPHABET” so it would be okey without the CPL. We’re kinda pressured and was hoping to see letters in the alphabet on the location. 

By the way, Ace brought the DSLR to their office last Saturday for the basketball game of their department but he was left in the office to take over the tasks of some officemates who played. Hence, he wasn’t able to take photos of their team during the game. Around 3:30Pm, he texted me telling that they will dine out and he will go home immediately because we have to go to downtown for my class. I was expecting that he will keep his word but I waited until almost 6PM and my class is at 6PM*sigh*. Considering that travel time to the class venue is almost 30 mins, I am surely late. For the nth time, he forgot about what we have planned in a matter of more than 1hour for such reason that I cannot just accept. The plan is so clear as a cloudless sky. It was very clear that I will be attending my class and he will wait for me at the mall. How come it will be forgotten in a very short time giving me invalid reasons? I am so PISSED! I should have left early so that I will arrive at the class venue just in time but he didn’t bother to inform me that he will be late so I waited and waited. If not because I texted reminding him that I have a class at 6, he will not think of going home. Hmmpppp! Situations like these, I am really losing my temper.  

I was thinking to relax myself a bit after class but Che2x texted that she haven’t eaten dinner yet. I forgot to leave money for her dinner so I immediately went home, had dinner, did some opps and rested. It was not a good night rest though but I did have a few hours of sleep. Times like this, I really wish I can afford Caribbean cruises or just a travel to nearby provinces would do to have a very relaxing ME time.
