It’s a wet Friday morning! I feel better now than the past days. After the sleepless night in our bedroom the other night, Ace decided to sleep in the living room floor with mat and comforters on. He believed that sleeping in a foam bed is not good if you have cough so we settled in the floor last night. True enough, I had a deep sleep and woke up feeling better. Ace said I should be well…or else we cannot join his colleagues on an island hopping in Samal and Talicud Island on Sunday. He’s actually not interested to join because he wanted to spend the weekend at Lamban’s hotel (Manang Inday and Manong Joey’s house) but his officemates insisted he’ll join and bring our cam so they’ll have photos. It’s another day and yet haven’t done the post about our trip to the 3 islands in Visayas. When I said yesterday that I will post today, I totally forgot that the photos during the first 3 days of our trip was dumped in FIL’s laptop and they are still in Cebu and will arrive here in Davao tomorrow. No way that I would post without the photos. Hence, let’s wait and see until tomorrow.

I felt sick after a week of not getting enough rest. Now I have cough (again) and for sure I will suffer from it for weeks. I hate this thing! I would rather have colds than cough. Continue Reading »

I’m back after more than a week of not updating this blog. I and Ace just arrived home safe from a 6-day trip to Cebu-Dumaguete-Siquijor. I’m still trying get some rest because it has been a very exhaustive trip. Yet, we enjoyed every day of it. I will have to blog about it in details but I just don’t have time today. Still need to return MIL’s gown to the bridal shop and I hope to be back just in time to prepare for dinner. I’ve been craving for an Isaw (chicken’s intestine) and barbeque so I hope I could buy a ready-to-cook pork BBQ at the mall later. Continue Reading »

Late last year, one of my best buddies, Yang2x, invited me to join her and other friends to their trip to Camiguin Island this month. This would be the first out-of-town bonding experience with my friends. Ace, my hubby says, okay so planning for the trip started. We have determined the date, planned our itinerary and other details. Excited as we are, I and Ace started packing our things for tomorrow, we will be going to my hometown as our jump off point to Camiguin early Monday morning. But things are not cooperating with our plans and it seems I and Ace cannot go for some reasons. It’s so frustrating but I need to accept it. Maybe, it’s not yet the right time to go there.
