Withdrawal from PayPal to EON CyberAccount a success!
Yipee!!! I made my 1st withdrawal from Paypal to my EON cyber account. This means, earning online is within reach with endless possibilities. I have withdrawn from my paypal account last May 2 and the money was credited in my EON CyberAccount on May 7. It took 3 banking days for the money to reflect in my bank account. Guess that was quick enough. The transfer was hassle free and I could believe myself until I got hold of the money I earned from blogging. As I have promised Nai, I will treat him (of course, with Borski) when they’ll get here on June (hopefully). I am worried when I read write-ups regarding problems on withdrawal by other bloggers. I wasn’t sure if I am following the right procedure when making the withdrawal from my paypal account and transferring it to my bank account. Haven’t asked anybody who had a previous experience so I followed my common sense in the hope that I would be successful in what I am doing. After 3 banking days, I was thrilled to see that the amount I withdrawn from paypal (that was converted already in Peso) was reflected in my EON cyber account. Yes! Such a success!
Anyway, for the benefit of others who aren’t familiar with the procedure or who has not tried, here are the steps I did until I finally had my withdrawal. I hope you will not get lost as I walk you through the procedure.

Open a Paypal account (you can choose between personal or premier account but I prefer the latter). Your account will reflect UNVERIFIED unless you have you will add your credit/debit card. If you don’t have any, wait for your EON card.

Apply for a UnionBank EON CyberAccount (you can apply online). It will take at least 5 days before you can claim the card in the UnionBank branch you have specified in your application. Prepare PhP350.00 for the annual fee to be paid upon claiming the card.

After you have claimed your EON card, verify it by making a balance inquiry thru the ATM the next business day after receiving the card. (DO NOT immediately insert the card to the ATM as was instructed in the carbonized paper that goes with your ATM. Your card will be captured if you do so.)

Enroll in UnionBank’s online banking so that you can access your account online. Wait for 2-3 banking days before you can log-in to your account.

For the first transaction (deposit and withdrawal) in your account, withdrawal can only be made after 7-10 banking days after the first deposit. (When you make balance inquiry prior to 7th day, your balance will both appear in the current and available balance. But that doesn’t mean you can withdraw it already). For the succeeding over the counter deposits and balance transfers, you can immediately make withdrawal once it is credited in your account.

Once you have successfully made your first withdrawal, verify your PayPal account (there’s a need to verify so that your sending and withdrawal limit will be lifted). To verify, follow these steps : (a) click the TO DO LIST in your PayPal’s Account Overview; (b) supply the necessary data including the security code or the 3-digit # found in the back portion of your card (your card will be validated by the bank and once approved, proceed to next step); (c) check your EON account online for paypal transaction and copy the 3-digit # (the # enclosed in pharenthesis) reflected in the transaction; (d) go back to your paypal account and input the 3-digit # you have copied from your EON transaction history. (e) you will be prompted if the verification is successful).

Supposing that your PayPal account is verified, you can now withdraw funds to your bank account. Just click on the WITHDRAW tab and choose which is applicable to you for the next step. Input the desired amount to withdraw and confirm the transaction.
That’s it! All you need to do is wait for at least 3 banking days before you can withdraw the money. However, don’t fret if on the first 2 days, your balance is not reflecting in your EON Account. Just check on the 3rd day if the amount you withdrawn from your PayPal is credited. Then, you can withdraw and enjoy your earnings!
Note: Withdrawals from PayPal of less than PhP7,000.00 will be charged PhP50.00 while no service charge for withdrawals of PhP7,000 or more.
