It’s not me…but should I change theme again? I am contemplating on that thing for days now and I am still thinking to change or not. For the entire lifespan of this site, I have changed themes a number of times. When I used this current theme, I thought I would stick to it for long but I noticed loading the pages is slow. Actually, it’s not only me but others (or should I say all) have the same experience when opening this site. At first I thought it was because of the widgets in the sidebar. I refrained from putting buttons, banners, etc in the sidebars thinking loading will become faster but still, it takes almost a minute or more for the page to be totally loaded. Continue Reading »

I was usually prompted that my wordpress 2.3 is outdated and I need to upgrade it but have no plan of updating my wordpress account until I have read an announcement that technorati will not crawl on wordpress blogs that is not updated. So, I really need to find ways to update mine. Anyway, that’s my forte, learning how to do things on my own except for highly techie things. Carol’s site was upgraded by Kuya Jun ‘coz of the problem she encountered and when Kuya Jun helped up, he upgraded it to 2.5.

This morning, I decided to upgrade mine so I sought google’s help where to find write-ups on how to do the updating. I have read one write-up after another but I end up confused coz they are saying different things until I found what I am looking for. All that I need is to download the plugin for WP 2.5 Automatic Upgrade here and the most sensible upgrade write-up I have read that served as my guide is found here.

Sadish, the author/designer of MistyLook suggested to change template for a while for him to figure out what could have been the problem with my MistyLook. There seems to be problem in the plugins. So, I shifted to this theme (especially designed for BlueBook hosting) and used it as is. I don’t wanna make some modifications on it for it will take me another 100 years to do it…hehehe. I hope look doesn’t matter, but content does…happy reading!
