Haven’t taken photos of Christmas decors yet so here’s my share for today…taken in Cebu City when we met Ate Eunice, our common friend.  Da Vinci’s pizza is located along Jones Ave. I heard they also have a branch in IT park in Lahug. Anyway, their pizza is great with the creamy white sauce! So delicious and I would love to go back there.

In this article I’m going to walk you through another scenario focusing on how much extra you could earn if you wrote for PayPerPost.com and you had a single average blog. Now at PayPerPost.com, the amount of money that you earn for your writing is not paid on a per word basis.

PayPerPost.com offers up opportunities, they call them opportunities, but you can also think of them as piecework or a job, and these “opportunities” typically have a minimum word count. The minimum word count is typically 200 words for your average article. In general the average article at PayPerPost on a high earning blog pays about $8.3. Sometimes they pay a little less, and sometimes they pay a little bit more, and a few go to extremes on the positive side.

Now if you are paid $8.3 to write a 200 word article, then that breaks down to about 4.2 cents per word. That is about 6 times more than what you can make at textbroker.com. I mentioned that only for comparison purposes, because PayPerPost.com limits you to writing three articles per blog per day. That means that you cannot write at PayPerPost all day long for your single blog. Now obviously, you cannot take 9 articles on a single blog in a single day, but this does point to the rate at which you can earn things with the work that is available. That $72.88 would be the earnings you could make from about 8.8 Opportunities at $8.3 per Opportunity.

So bear with me again with this example.
So what can faster typing skills do to help you earn more money at PayPerPost?

We were at the Christmas Bazaar 2008 in Davao Convention and Trade Center last Saturday afternoon. Here’s one of the many products sold in the bazaar. Yummy, isn’t it? But that is not edible. Those are decorative candles made by Candle Delight Davao. Nice gift items for the holiday season. The candles are very cute but quite expensive.

Baking soda, or sodium bicarbonate, first hit the mass market in 1846, when Dr. Austin Church and John Dwight began selling their red-labeled soda packages. “Not only does baking soda neutralize odiferous fatty acids but it also attacks grease by turning it into - believe it or not - soap,” says the University of Pittsburgh’s Wolke. Fact: More than 100 tons of the refrigerator staple were used to clean the Statue of Liberty’s inner copper walls during its 1986 restoration.

Use Baking Soda to:
1. Exfoliate skin. Wash your face, then apply a soft paste made of three parts baking soda and one part water. Massage gently with a circular motion, avoiding the eye area; rinse clean.

2. Erase crayon, pencil, ink, and furniture scuffs from painted surfaces. Sprinkle soda on a damp sponge, rub clean, and rinse.

3. Unclog a drain. Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, then slowly pour 1/2 to 1 cup of white vinegar after it. Let sit for five minutes (covered, if possible). Follow with a gallon of boiling water.

4. Remove tough stains from enameled cast iron and stainless steel. Scrub enameled cast iron with a soft nylon brush and a thick paste of baking soda and water. Clean stainless steel with a soft cloth and 4 tablespoons of baking soda dissolved in 1 quart of water. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

5. Scrub pans. Sprinkle soda on crusted casseroles and roasting pans and let sit for five minutes. Lightly scrub and rinse.

6. Brush teeth. Use a paste of baking soda and water.

7. Fight class-B fires (flammable liquids, such as gasoline, oil, and grease). Baking soda can be used to smother only a small flame.

8. Deodorize. Dust baking soda under your arms to absorb body odor.

9. Clean up minor oil and grease spills on a garage floor or driveway. Sprinkle baking soda on the spot and scrub with a wet brush.

10. Settle a stomach during occasional indigestion. Stir 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda into 1/2 cup of water and drink for a safe and effective antacid.

I know we have all our own wishes for the holidays, be it tangible or non-tangible things. But more than anything else, many families of the military service men and veterans have their needs more than us. And there’s no better way to put a smile on their faces and somehow make their lives a way better by getting what they wished for for the holidays. It would not even matter how much we give for this program. It’s the thought that counts, as they say. Be a hero of the unsung heroes and their families even for a day by donating some amount to the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry. Even a cent would go a long way.

Ace also wanted to move (yey!). He’s been asking some friends if they know a house or apartment for rent. He’s planning to go around some strategic place on a Sunday afternoon to look for a house or apartment. On Sunday, I hope we could try to look for a place. So if we’d move, we need to hire moving trucks for our convenience. One trip would be enough for our things but if we’d move with PILs, it will be multiple trips for all their things.
