Conquering my fear
From Camiguin Island, we went straight to Cagayan de Oro City (the city of golden friendship) and spent the night in one of our friend’s house. When everybody’s prepared for the day, we were brought by our friend to Macahambus Adventure Park. The park offers skybridge walking, zipline, rapelling and water rafting. Water rafting lasts for 5-6 hours…I doubt I can make it till the last rapid. The group decided to try skybridge and zipline. We will be crossing three bridges 250 feet high. Isn’t that scary? We were so excited at first but when I started to walk across the first bridge, with Ace behind me, I got so nervous. Though my harness is attached to a cable, I’m scared because I have fear in heights. After the three skybridges, is the zipline. Ace went first before me and I became more scared. After my harness was hooked in the line, off I went hanging 250 feet high and I was screaming to death until I reached the end of the line. Alas! I made it! I thought I would faint but I did it!
