One of the reasons why people aren’t going out for a vacation (though they needed it much) is the expenses on accommodation. Here in our part of the globe, it’s normal to stay in relatives or friends’ house instead of the hotels or lodge. Even how distant that relative is or we’re not that close to that friend, Filipinos have really the nerve to stay for free accommodation. But in other parts of the globe especially in the US, staying at a relatives’ or friends’ house for the entire trip isn’t that ok unless it’s an immediate family or very close friend. Hence one could see hotels, motels, lodge, vacation rentals and the like mushrooming like other businesses.
