Ruby Tuesday: Ang Pao (Chinese Red envelope)
Posted on Aug 11, 2009 under Ruby Tuesday, Weddings | 5 Comments![]()
It’s been a while since I joined photo memes. Blame it to the lazy neurons that I got because I am too lazy to resize photos. Anyway, here’s one of the photos I took the other month for this meme.
As I went through our stuffs during our wedding, I found a pack of unused Chinese Red envelopes or what they call Ang Pao. In our wedding reception, our guests were given Ang Pao where they will put the money that they’ll be giving or pinning to us during the prosperity dance. Now I used the Ang Paos where I keep our monthly budget.

So creative of you. Most of us in SG throw away the red packets after taking the money.

The photo did not load for some reason, but I read what you do with the envelopes. Great idea.
My R T is posted now, she’s a “Lady in Red” today…..
Have a great Tuesday.

That is such a cool idea. Even better that you’ve recycled the envelopes.
