After 5 days of not using the desktop (I wouldn’t want to say “MY” because this isn’t mine), at last I am now back using it. Thanks to MGEL especially to FIL who lent their laptops during the time that the CPU took a rest from working so hard every single day.

Yesterday, Ace brought the CPU to his Mom’s office to be fixed. Then he came home last night bringing in the CPU telling me that it was fixed at Columbia Computer Center. I don’t really know the details how the CPU was brought to Columbia and how Ace was able to excuse himself from work to deliver or pick up (?) the CPU (I was really clueless and now I regret it for not asking the details). Anyway, the power supply of the CPU was replaced. Thanks goodness that it’s up and running and that my photo files are still intact. I was really worried for the possibility that the “death” may be caused by a virus and my files might have been damaged. It was such a relief!

So now I am back to work. I wasn’t able to work fulltime the past days because all my files are stored in this CPU.
