CCTV cameras in the workplace

In my former workplace, we dealt with cases of lost company and personal properties. Cases like lost of unused cotton flour sacks, copper wires that costs hundreds of thousands, scrap materials, cellular phones, etc. I cannot even count with my fingers how many times we’ve called the management of the Security Agency to a meeting regarding such cases. We’ve been facing such problems because the company has no security cameras…not even one. Those cases could have been prevented if only the company has taken into consideration that CCTV cameras are needed to monitor everybody at every corner of the plant’s premises. Security Agency even proposed that the management should consider installing CCTV cameras to identify the theft within the company but until I resigned, I haven’t heard of the proposal’s approval. However, should they consider the proposal, I would suggest that they’d get CCTV cameras from reliable companies such as IT Planet that provides the best quality of security cameras. A Panasonic CCTV camera would be a nice choice if in case they would purchase for the plant. I just hope the management will decide soon so the thieves (I know they are many) in the plant would be caught soon or if they wouldn’t be caught, they will stop from stealing company’s properties.
